So i have a Q10 that i want to try again, but currently have an Iphone 6 plus. They use different size sim cards so i cant just switch them out. Is it easy to take both to Verizon and switch service? As i may go back and forth a few times. How easy is it?

Best way to transfer photos from apple to BB?

Nano --> Micro sim card adapter.

That will allow you to put a Nano sim card into the Q10.

I did pay as you go for another sim for my Q10. It works well for work and the extra battery is key. I was fed up with poor battery life in my iphone and the pathetic "can I borrow your charger" crap. Same problem with Classic of course which is why I have a backup Q10 sitting at home, and 2x spare batteries and a wee battery charger. One battery is always on charge, the other is in my pocket as a spare. For a surgeon working 24-36hr shifts in hospital this is great.

Someone else could speak better on the "right" one to get but I have read that the quality does matter and that this was a recommended brand.

Have fun revisiting the Q10. Remember it's quite a long way behind the pace of current BB's like the Passport for example which is in a different league. If you want to store photos on it (instead of on the web) the best thing is to buy a micro SD card to put in the slot under the battery flap. Get one that is at least U1 speed. One advantage the Q10 has over the iPhone is you can make the memory bigger wheras with the iPhone you are stuck with what you bought on day one and can not improve it. People tend to say that getting your stuff off of Apple is likely to be more difficult than putting it onto another company. Also there are well documented issues with imessage hanging on to people and causing them problems when you move away from Apple.

They're two very different devices; what's got you trying the old Q10 again?

    Z30 / STA100-5 /10.3.1.1784 (no more double-typing Q10).

I could see why one would do that. Q10 is a great phone. Having had most of the BB10 phones (Z10, Q10, Z30, Classic and Passport), I am back to the Q10 as my daily driver. It's hard to beat its form factor!

I could think of a bunch of reasons.

    Hub.
    Form Factor.
    Keyboard.
    Replaceable battery.
    Notifications.
    One hand operation.
    Security.
    Doesn't bend.

I switched from the iphone 6 plus to the Q10. Don't regret it one bit! Every once in a while I miss the apps and the speed, but the Q10 is no slouch by any means!

Why the hell not??!! I did changed back to Q10 from iphone 5s and Galaxy note 3. Those things are just for fun, but when I really need to get things done, I choose Q10. IMO

    Q10 + spare battery is a great format. Says a previous 950 (!), 9900 and iphone 1/3/5 user.

Hub is an excellent piece of software. And Blend is very useful, only wish it showed Whatsapp messages. Effective functionality for working.

Hey you don't need any sim adapters. I use both apple iphone 5 and blackberry q10 and use nano sims in both the phones. Sometimes I swap the sims in both phones. Even though blackberry q10 requires micro-sim, you can also insert nano sim into it. Just place the nano sim properly in the place. Look at the attached photo.

You could do that??? But I'm afraid if I pull the Nano Sim out, it might get caught at those little "antenna" things inside the sim slot..

Same, packed up my iphone 5 as it's battery life was pathetic. Many of my colleagues are now begging for chargers by lunchtime. Whereas the Q10 crew have second batteries in their pockets. Functional, charged and effective.

If you don't need the trackpad the Q10 is perfectly fine. The specs aren't far off for one to be better than the other. Just different.

Actually the way the SIM is loaded in the Q10, you don't even need an adapter. It's fairly easy to line up the contacts when you slide it in. Of course it helps if you have a microSIM handy to compare. It also eliminates the risk those cheap adapters have of getting the SIM out of alignment and bending the contacts when trying to remove it.
