For all you Q10 owners, what do you think about the speaker when listening to music or videos? I think it's incredibly good. Haven't heard a phone this loud and CLEAR!!!

I was at the cottage this past weekend and rocking music off my Q10 the whole weekend. iphone and droid users looked at me with envy. The kept saying "play that song off Johnny's phone, it sounds better" haha

Small feature on the Q10 that gets overlooked, but I listen to music off my phone everyday.. BlackBerry did a great job with that.

I agree, the speaker on my Q10 is amazing and it's one of the reasons I use it over my Z10.

I do hope they use the same speaker in the upcoming Z30 because from the looks of the pictures it has a speaker at the top and bottom which would make it perfect for gaming, listening to music, watching videos, etc.

Definitely the best I have heard as well. I always thought the iPhone 5 had an awesome speaker, but I think the Q10 beats it.

Just switched from an HTC one, to a Q10. The HTC one has by far the best speakers for a cell phone. To bad the rest of the phone couldn't be as good

I watched a TV show on my q10 for the first time recently. Amazing sound. Also loved the full screen option for the video. Usually I can't watch a TV show on a phone but I was able to sit through an hour long show on the Q. (can't get full screen on YouTube videos though. Just on BlackBerry's video app)

I really don't like the speaker.
Only because of it's placement.
On the bottom means it's muffled when in holster so my ringtones aren't heard, and on the bottom means when I put someone on speaker and need to listen in if there's loud noises around, I have to put the bottom of the phone to my ear and then I can't talk back without moving the phone.
Should have been placed at the top of the phone IMO

Having been using a Z10 since launch, I thought I was delusional when I recently got my Q10 and played music on it. It simply blows the Z10 speaker out of the water. What was BlackBerry thinking with choosing that crappy speaker on the Z10?

Your question is like asking "The person is couple right?"
In other words, you need 2 speakers + dual channel amp to have a stereo sound. That is not the case with the Q10.

The speaker is amazing I played songs for my kids and it was so loud and clear we can here it no problem outside with traffic behind us!! BlackBerry for life :-)

Q10's speaker is quite loud, but the best phone's speaker ive ever tried is still the old bold 9000
