Hi,

I'm extremely happy with my Q10.
But, music is very important for me and compared to my previous iPhone, the blackberry q10 sounds notoriously lowest. The difference is big, that's my only problem with the q10...
I would like a spotify native app because android app doesn't run smooth.

So, if you have any advise to improve sound quality on q10 and make it sounds louder I need it.

You mean external speaker? Really? Mine is really awesome comparing with other devices and the sounds is really loud!!

I agree the iphone 5s sounds better than the Q10 -- for me it's not a big deal because I use headphone a majority of the time.

Im talking about the volume on headphones, in-ear headphones. In other phones the volume is much higher.

The speaker is fantastic on q10.

Currently using the stock earphones (bad quality)

Try to buy new headphones. BlackBerry stock earphone is too bad for music.
Anyway, honestly don't expect too much. Get other device for entertainment is the best way

I find it sorta hard to get a good fit on the stock headphones... that my be affecting your volume... try a different pair....

There's also the option of "headphone audio boost" in the volume settings

Bad advice imo.

Although BlackBerry stock headphones kinda suck for music/everything.
I use them when I run so I can ruin them and not feel bad.

I would get new headphones. Did you test it with your old phone too?

Agreed with Ray Bourque's brother, turn "Headphone Audio Boost" to ON in the Main Volume menu in Settings.

Also, the Klipsch ear buds are amazing.
