I just noticed this Friday night, there is something loose inside of my new Q10. I swear it sounds like a baby's rattle. A regular pair of murachas. Anyway, I'm trying not to shake it excessively, but sounds like it's coming from the upper part of the phone(where the led is, same as where the battery cover stops), and sometimes the rattling goes away(probably gets stuck to a magnet or lodged in a crevice) but it always comes back.

This phone is less than two(2) months old. Anyone has any suggestions? Any advice will be appreciated.

Some blackberries have them lose.. take your battery cover off and shake your phone...

The sound is quieter, but it's still there. Once I but the cover back on, no rattling. Until later on tonight I'm sure. So is that the reason for the noise, why my heart nearly skipped a beat?

It could be it.. I just know it's a common issue amongst the BlackBerry phones.

The nfc pins rattle a bit on mine if I shake it hard enough, if you take the battery cover off and shake the phone, it will then really rattle. I don't think it's a flaw, they seem to be sorta spring loaded, so when the battery cover goes on and off they line up properly.

I've got something rattling, but definitely different from what you describe. I hear something bulky moving around, and if I didn't know better I'd say it was the battery.

But with the cover off...no noise. Those NFC pins are loose tho, never noticed until I read this thread.

If your battery is loose, you would probably get a lot of re-boots?

I definitely don't have a clunky sound that's for sure.

Yeah you know, someone mentioned to me how that happens to him if he places his Q10 down too harshly...kinda like slamming it down. I never paid attention to that myself prior, but sure enough that has been happening to me too.
