After seeing the Q10 in action a bit it appears that the Q10 will be the faster device at getting things done with the benefit of shorcuts in the keyboard. I for one feared that the OS on the Q10 would be an afterthought but i believe i have nothing to worry about in that department.

At first I thought the screen real estate of the z10 and the fact, I too thought the Q would be an after thought made me think the Z was the answer. Now I'm thinking Q is the way to go.

I am starting to lean towards the q10 as well. Although i am concerned about the swiping action. I have noticed that it often doesnt register right away. Even in the most recent vid with vicek, near the end u can see him swiping a few times without the phone registering his swipes.

I too was amazed to see nothing but rave reviews. Just heard BB is having record sales of the Z10 too! I also read a review titled "Blackberry Os 10 and webkit browser Smokes ip5." Seems the tide has turned. Can't wait to get my hands on a Q10!

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Q10. I'm a hardcore 9930 user. I'm still unsure how I'm going to manage without the (to me) essential trackpad. I'm willing to listen, learn, and, possibly, be swayed.

I was pretty meh over the launch and the Z10 but the recent hands on video of the Q10 here on CrackBerry really wowed me.

My contract doesn't end until may though and I want to switch carriers and we know at least four more phones (one supposedly a monster of a. Device) are coming out this year (plus the whole future of rim being so uncertain for the moment) so I may just play wait and see as long as my current device still works. I'd really like to try bb10 on my playbook before committing to blackberry for another 3 years as well.

I think this is because they are still tuning touchscreen sensitivity for the Q10. Maybe they use a different sensor from the Z10 since the size and underlying screen are different.

I am still praying that the production device will have larger gap between the screen and keyboard. I strongly believe this is a design flaw the way it is now and no matter how they adjust/calibrate the sensor, it will be a hit or miss experience all the time.

Have a look at this video on the swiping up... seems pretty responsive to me . Says that hardware is finallized.

The same publication has a review of the Z10 . In someways the Q10 is better off because the expectations of the users are different. At least the battery will be better. I think I will be very happy with the Q10. I expect the Z10 will improve based on software and hardware changes going forward. I hope they are serious and aggressive because the competition is moving forward all the time.
