The Music and Movie app may not be available in your region. We have seen this before, even with game applications. BlackBerry has the License to distribute certain content in certain countries. They just may not have the license to distribute the content in your country.

Just FYI 10.1.0.238 is the same as 10.1.0.1483. It's just the name of the update vs the OS version.

As they expand their license, it should change in the future. Switserland and such don't have them either.
Wish it can come to the Caribbean soon!

    There are 2 version numbers:

    • Software release version
    • OS version

The software release version is oftentimes specific to a particular carrier, and can vary even if the underlying OS version is the same.

I think it's best to specify both numbers when quoting versions, as they both affect various aspects of the software on the device.

Best yet: specify both versions as well as which carrier you are on. That would cover all the variables.
