    Ok, so I'm on YouTube playing music and used to be able to go to other apps while the video/music is still playing but now when I try to go to other apps, the YouTube video stops until I go back into the app/browser, is there a setting to fix this or just a glitch right now?

    There are several threads about this already. Clear your history and cookies, reboot, should work.

    Well that's not working. What are some other options? Should I pull the battery for the reboot?

    So I tried everything and this is the solution that finally worked for me!

    Turn off block pop-up
    Clear cookie, history
    Go to youtube
    Play something
    Turn on block pop-up
