Hi,

I've got a brand new Q10 and all went well, untill the bb gave me the 'no signal, emergency calls only'. When I restart the phone, it works again, but then I get the same message. (I have 10.2 (newest) and I have never used the phone with an older OS). Is this a hardware or a software problem? What should I do?

ps: I got a brand new micrso SD sim.

So, even with a new sim card, you are still getting that message or error? It could be hardware problem with the sim card slot.

I haven't tried with an other SIM-card. Don't have another micro-sim :s . But, i guess it's software-based? Because when I restart the phone, it works again (for a little while at least)? Or am I wrong?

I guess it could be software but it might be intermittent problem with the physical sim card. Can you get your carrier to give you another? Also, could it be a carrier problem with their cell network? I don't have a q10 so I'm not as up on it. I've got the z10.

I may go tomorrow to ask an otherone . Maybe I should do a factory reset and see if it helps?
