I am about to switch from one (expensive) service provider to another and save myself some money by buying a sim only deal for my unlocked Q10. If I go to Contacts>Settings>Sim Card>Import Contacts from SIM card - will I be able to insert a new SIM and still find/use my contacts? If so - where do I find them, if not, how do I make backup copies?

Secondly, if I do the Contacts>Settings>Sim Card>Import Contacts from SIM card thing - how can I be sure they are all copied over, most are already on the device, I just want to know that they all are there.

    Thanks in advance!

I really wouldn't trust that, I think Rogers is the only one that use it, get your self the app from BBW called back up pro and save your contacts and what ever else you want and save it to the cloud or your sd card, then just restore after you switch providers.

Worked absolutely fine! Now saving $40 a month, even after paying off the 'competitor'!!
