I'm known for not being a follower. I mean I do and use what suits me best. I only do what the crowd does because that's what works for me.

I'm always on the move and BlackBerry 10 helps me stay on top of things.

I like to have fun but I really like efficiency. BB1O is efficient and I need people to know that.

If you changed it - why? If you kept it - why?
I've kept mine on both my BlackBerry phones. It allows the user to know that I am replying from a mobile device. Most of the emails that I send from my phones are mainly status updates for work, and this allows the person to know that I have seen their message. Most replies constitute, "This will get done by so-and-so time", or something to that effect.
Since I work with a lot of restricted data, it has to be sent by my laptop, and such messages allow the person to know that while their messages have been read, since I am replying from a mobile device, the actual data will follow in a later email.

I also send a high volume of status updates and the mobile email signature is beneficial in excusing brevity. My response time is very quick.

I can see that. It makes sense.

For me, I've been using mobile email so long that most of the folks I deal with expect emails on the go.

Back in the day, some cats used to use BlackBerry email sigs with email sent from desktops/laptops LOL.

Bc some of the younger folk I've noticed type with a thumb (left) and one index finger (right) and the speed with which they type is insane, it looks like they're playing a video game on their phone when they're actually typing.

All of the people I've seen type this way were female.

Pretty sure my emails said sent from my blackberry before the iphone came out, but maybe I'm misremembering
Don't know. I remember the moment when it started to suck, about 2010. This was when zillions of iPhone and iPad users flooded email and web forums (with Tapatalk). My old Curve (OS 6) didn't have this by default.

I never put a signature on my emails unless it's absolutely necessary, even on email sent from the computer. I just put "sent from handheld device" from the email sent from the phone to let the person know I'm not in office.

Of course with BlackBerry 10 spelling and grammar is not a problem.

I proudly have "Sent from BlackBerry 10" (with no period, lol) on mine which I use 90% for business.

    Why not? I say.

its a business phone, and I think it adds a professional appearance when people see you doing business with a proper business device, and not a toy.

There is something to be said if you're constantly on the go and replying from mobile. I suppose it depends on the person. If you're always responsive and do a good job of responding promptly, then perhaps the signature justifies itself. However if you have that signature but procrastinate your responses, the recipient might think "psshh... what's the point of flaunting a BlackBerry if your email responses aren't timely?"

    Devils advocate:

Isn't the point of a mobile signature so the recipient can pardon grammatical errors or typos? Is there something to be said about those who work in an industry where they are sending a lot of mobile emails?

    Posted via Q10
A certain individual I know has a signature..."Sent from my iPhone, please excuse the typos." I know they probably think that's cute but it bothers me. And yes, there are numerous typos!!! I personally don't use a signature but I don't get bent if someone does...well, as long as it's not like the one I mentioned...:-)

With the BlackBerry 10 phones, the default color of the letters are the light blue color, so unless you manually change the letters to black all the time, if you do not have "Sent from BlackBerry" indication, people are going to want to know why you changed your letter colors to light blue.

I just use "Sent from BlackBerry Q10".
