I am getting 'can't obatain data from sensors' from BBVE aand its evident during a call as when I place phone near ears, screen doesnt go black as it should. I can see the screen only if I swipe to unlock it.
Maybe a function got disabled or an issue with update as all started after an update.
I have reloaded OS yet nothing happened.

Ever since I updated to .2941 I am experiencing an erratic proximity sensor. It does go black when I put the phone on my ear but at times it doesn't "come back" or turn on when I remove the phone from my ear, I sometimes have to swipe up for it to wake up.

It didn't suffer from this before I updated, it was slow in reacting. I actually find it slow to react compared to phones I have used before.

Here's hoping for a fix in the next update.

If it fails in BBVE it indicates a faulty sensor.

Just had a similar case with a customer and my very trusted escalation engineer from BlackBerry advice was to send it for repair.
