One complaint I have is the Screenshot function with my Q10, not so much the function itself but with the location of the file.

In most other operating systems it saves to the camera roll on the memory card which allows for easy access when it comes to posting, tweeting, etc. On the Q10 it seems to save to the phone itself.

Is there any way to re route or change the storage location?

At this time there is no way to choose where the file saves to. However you can use file manager and manually move the screen shot. And yes I know that's a PITA and they should make changes.

Yeah I figured that was solution. But you would think that would be smartphone 101 for BlackBerry to include as basic function.

Of course, but realize that the phone does not come with MicroSD cards by default, nor can BlackBerry assume that everyone uses a MicroSD card with their Q10, therefore it saves the SS's to device. You can, though, choose to save pictures that you actually take with the camera to the media card by:

Go to Camera > Pull down from top > Settings > Save on Media Card

With bb10 they seem to have deliberately kept the OS as basic as possible and are adding settings with updates as demanded

And I understand that. However you should also A) have it automatically sense that there is a MicroSD card and default to save there or B) give me the option to toggle or choose where it is saved SOMEWHERE in the options menu, not provide me with no real solutions.
