Anyone miss this feature and would like to have it back?

Swiping up is starting to give me carpal tunnal. I miss just being able to hit any key as long as I was under the time limit on the security lock and get right back to what I was doing last...

This already is a part of BB10... I have my screen timeout set to 30 seconds and my screen lock set to 5 min.

    Check your settings...

Should have clarified. Not "lock" per se, but the ability to hit any key and pick back up where you left off. Since swiping responds 50% of the time for me, and out of that 50%, there's another 50% where the device goes back to the home screen versus going to what I was last working on.

    Make sense?

Enable "Allow power button to unlock phone", or something like that, and Hit the top button?

Also, don't the numeric keys also wake the screen?

Hitting the power button is awkward.

The numeric keys wake it up yes, but you still have to swipe to get back into the OS

Hmmm.. maybe you could try the "allow power button to unlock device" thing, but use the numeric keys. I really don't know if it'd work.

But, wouldn't allowing any key to get straight to the OS lead to pocket dials and frustration?

Are we talking about the same OS 10 that takes 10 steps to dial a number? Jk ha

I don't think I'll ever have a problem pocket dialing...never did on the 9930 or any device before
