I've done a wipe...didn't do it or me.

I did serveral wipes as well...what I discovered is that if I restored the settings backup that I had where the VVM button was missing, the option would go away. Immediately after a wipe, the option was there.
I tried it on a bare z10 with 10.2.0.1791, no restore and the Vvm is still not there....issue is on there end

Sounds like you don't have VVM+ for BB provisioned as the option *should* be there in VM setup. Anyway, talked to Rogers Corp support again today and they say they are having an ongoing issue with VVM for BB10 devices and that they would keep me posted.
Like I saaid in my post! If you have a priceplan previous to Aug 2013 and you have had the BlackBerry value pack with visual voice-mail then it will work! However with all current plans only voice-mail to text is currently the available feature. Current priceplan with iphones are the only value plans that have vvm as of now and iphone users have to special request!
I did migrate away to the cheaper BlackBerry value pack in April with my plan change and I thankgod I didn't change or I would have lost VVM. I do not like to be sent a message transcribed in text format! I like to hear the message as is via the native vvm built into bbos10.

I have had VVM+ for BlackBerry added and removed a number of times post the date you mention. This may only affect consumer plans as the corporate plan still allows for this option.

Yes this only affects consumer plans!

Does Rogers still have the "VVM" for non smartphones? I used to have that on my 9900 with them and it was actually pretty good. You'd get a transcribed VM along with the original audio in the same MMS as I recall. I've never used the integrated VVM for BB10 to compare directly... does it include transcriptions?
I switched from iPhone to BlackBerry and kept my iPhone plan which includes visual voicemail. Should it still work? It doesn't and Rogers Tech Support said they are waiting for a software update from BlackBerry to make it work.

Far as I know the provisioning for BlackBerry and iphone are different! The iphone value pack which has visual voice-mail is not compatible!

Wow huge investment for Glenayre ICE (visual voicemail) and gouging users to take advantage of it didn't amount to significant revenues?! Must be a first failure of this practice for Rogers.

I kept my iPhone plan, did not tell them I'm using a BlackBerry and my visual voice mail still is working.

That's what I thought, it's supposed to work.

I wonder if your Imei is logged on your account as I know certain plan features only pop up for device dependant features.

I'm not too sure. Here's a screen shot to show it is working. :)

That looks more like VM to MMS to me...are you sure that's not what is happening here?
I'm so not sure, I think you are right. Here's a link to Roger's page about visual voicemail.

I haven't actually seen "official" VVM working on a Z10 so I can't say for sure. I know on an iPhone there's a little "Play" button that plays the VVM message but I'm not even sure what screen you find it in as I don't have one of them things. Who knows...maybe when 10.2.1 comes out they'll get it right :)
It's in the phone app on an iPhone. It's just like listening to a voice memo. It doesn?t show the text of the voicemail.

Oddly my visual voice-mail comes through as an actual audio file within visual voice-mail built in. I can hear the file live on my phone and is also transcribed as well under each visual voice-mail. In the vvm list in hub!

That's the way it should work, I never used it on the iPhone but I really like how it works in the vmm tab within the BlackBerry phone app

You can still get proper visual voicemail on BlackBerry 10 with Rogers (as many have noted). You need the OPTSRA166 feature on your Rogers account that is necessary to make it work using the built-in mechanism, where the messages are delivered directly to the Visual Voicemail tab in the Hub (rather than the option where the voicemails just come as an MMS attachment).
Unfortunately, the brilliant system that most Rogers agents are familiar with has not been updated to present the OPSTRA166 feature when a BlackBerry 10 IMEI is linked to the line. You have to find a legacy BlackBerry device that was sold by Rogers and first have the agent "switch" your line to the IMEI of that device. (It won't actually have any impact on your service, unless you also move your SIM card over.) Once they've made that change, they'll be able to see the "Visual Voicemail Plus - BB" option. Once that has been added and saved, you can then have them switch your line back to the proper BlackBerry 10 IMEI if that matters to you (or if you need to use the IMEI to help others navigate the Rogers maze and also get vvm).
Godspeed. (Necessary good wishes whenever dealing with Rogers client care, in my experience.)
Ha!....and I thought that Rogers was only out to get me! They actually drive other people crazy too?
Thanks for writing that up and posting it. When I jumped through almost identical hoops with no fewer than six representatives and supervisors to activate VVM on my Q10, I thought I must be going insane. How could such a big company have such a poorly trained staff. Even after I confirmed that the runaround had occurred as I remembered it by successfully talking someone who claimed to be a senior tech support rep through adding it back after it mysteriously disappeared, I never expected anyone to believe my tale.
How do you like that, others have had the same experience in Rogers' Never, Never Land ("We never supported vvm on BB10; Never will.")

I'm a highly trained cus care rep and this does work because features and options are always populated in vision21 based on device Imei but it does not always work and an error message may pop up as well. It's a bit more complex than just updating to a legacy Imei then re adding the vvm soc. Sometimes also depending on plan will also eliminate that option as well! But yeah I would advise anyone in a position of a tech problem handle the issue by tech support incase anything goes haywire!

I have one of the new price plans but as far as old BlackBerry value pack, I have the 5$ vvm BlackBerry value pack which includes the soc codes for the feature set visual voice-mail and never had it changed or otherwise! So visual voice-mail is working fine for me as always! It didn't work with the first official os but did when I started installing the leaks.
Some people accounts populates the correct coding socs while some do not. I presume this is tied in to whether the original price plan at the time was in the dating period for the vvm feature to be available combined with the correct value pack which includes the soc that enables vvm!
