    Can you remove the icon on the home screen? I am constantly taking photos when the phone is locked.

    Not at this time and same here. Just make sure that you have the screen locked until you're ready to use your BB

    I do lock screen but my finger must press camera icon when locked and takes loads of pics

    Settings > display >'allow gestures when locked' turn it off.
