There was at least one keyboard phone running Microsoft Windows Mobile: Palm Treo 750

    Attachment 239560

It was rather good, apparently. I haven't used one, but I had a Treo 650 (running Palm OS) which had good hardware and a great browser for the time.

I really like the Ppalm Treo devices and was my first foray into pda type smartphones. Loved the palm devices and the integration with the desktop software.

I know this thread's title reflects that it is meant to remember Nokia's physical keyboard devices, but I do see mention of other brands that ran WinMo. However, there is no mention of HTC! Ouch...I loved every last one that I owned lol.

Yes windows phone did have a model with a physical keyboard. It was the Dell Venue Pro. I had it for a year and was fairly happy with it. But it was never close to a BlackBerry devicve

I loved my Palm Treo. Coming from their PDA's it was easy to adjust.

In those days, the first BlackBerry's were basically email devices that added a phone. I remember seeing a friend with the first BlackBerry that was a phone that added email. This was 2004 or so. I got my first BlackBerry after that. Had well over 50 since.

One of Nokia's earlier E-series QWERTY devices had BlackBerry service. E61 I think. I loved the look of the E6. Very different from the 9900, but equally beautiful. The E71 looked great as well and the screen was lovely.

I still think the E61i was the best looking Nokia. It had that retro calculator look. Nice large 2,6" screen (which was absolutely huge back then) and was quite thin too. I relied on it as my mobile office when I started my business. Good old times!
