Forgot password of Q10. Only 1 chance left, if that is a wrong password, then entire data will be wiped.

Is there anyone in India to help recovering my data (atleast contacts) ?

Login to BlackBerry Protect with your BBID and you should be able to set a new password on your device.

How does that help, if you still need the old password to log on to Blackberry Protect?

You cannot change the current device lock w/o knowing the old one.

Go in to BlackBerry Protect. Select lock device and it allows you to change device password remotely and you don't need old password.

BBid password and device password are different. You log in to BlackBerry Protect with BBid but you can change device password remotely once you are in BlackBerry protect

    My bad...
    I stand corrected.
I didn't have a password on my devices so BlackBerry Protect simply allowed me to enter a " new" password.

If there is a password in place you do have to enter old password to change.
My apologies to OP if I got your hopes up and thanks to Scrannel and BBaddict for the correction.
