Or enjoy the Classic and choose whether to use the toolbelt or not? Don't see the issue here.

Legebdary phone? Lol I think you mean the bold. Other then a select few of us who loved the Q10, it was a flop. I traded up to a Classic and a Blue one and would never look back. Maybe try it before going to a passport. I had one for a week or two n said no can do. Too big for me

Hey, did you guys hear that Apple discontinued the 4S?

If you have a Q10 and you are happy about it, what's the problem? If you need another one, there's always the Internet. It's never too late to start a laserdisc collection either. Don't be mad at the technology industry for behaving the same way that it always has. That's like being mad at oranges for tasting like oranges. Don't let the spin of the planet make you dizzy.

The issue..is I told them to use a virtual trackpad. All that tool belt does is take up space.

Birddog; The reason I'm upset is because Blackberry is moving towards technology with holes in it.

They're going straight up android. As soon as bb10 isn't updated any more, all the folks who care about exclusivity and privacy, well they'll die too in a sense.

I don't like it one bit.

Well, I suppose I just see things differently. I don't mean to be argumentative just for the sake of it. Only for the sake of humour and good fun.

While I don't own a Ferrari, I don't mourn the 'loss' of them at all because they aren't gone in any sense. If I did own a Ferrari, I'd probably be happy they stopped making them because that would just make mine more valuable. There are still people rocking 9900's and they are perfectly content. It's all perspective. I think the 'problem' with the Classic is that it is more of a 'replacement' or a side step to the Q10 than it is an upgrade. They could have upgraded the specs and actually released it AS the Q20 (maybe put the Passport style capacitive keyboard in there instead of the toolbelt) and some people would be happier. Others are just as happy with their Classic as you are with your Q10.

They can't just keep making the same phone forever though because most people don't want that. And, even if they do, they are perfectly able to keep using whichever exact device they choose for as long as they wish.

The Q10 was released nearly 3 years ago. It's still a good phone, but ancient in "smartphone time". And the the Z10 was the only BB10 phone that sold in numbers remotely significant enough to be considered "legendary".

Bird dog, I agree w Your thoughts about the classic. Was eagerly anticipating the evolution of Q10 w updated specs ect..

I suppose I can keep using this phone, be content like the 9900 users, but this phone won't last forever.

Overall, and despite some hitches such as the double typing issue, which is the only issue I can recall, I've been extremely satisfied w my experience so thankYou, BlackBerry.
