I am planning to get a Q10 for my little brothers birthday.

I heard that the Q10 has trouble running some Android apps.

Can you guys confirm these apps work as good on a Q10 as on a Z10/Z30

-IMDb
-Spotify
-MyVodafone
-Endomundo

BTW: Are all Native apps that are available for the Z10/Z30 also available for the Q10? (I am not talking about games, just apps like Evernote, 9GAG, Parrot, Fast Tube, Connect to One Drive, Round Timer etc)

All the apps you named native work fine. Some android apps don't render well on the square screen, but a lot of them are fine. Just need to do some scrolling.

Don't think it's a great idea if he's actually little. If he'll be after the apps and games it's not a great choice.

Apps that are officially available for Z10 but not Q10 Viber, flipboard, (Waze as well I think)

Viber android port apk doesn't work properly bottom half of original screen doesn't show on q10 so u can't answer calls

I don't use any of those apps, but most of the android apps I've tried work but not very smoothly. I regularly use:

Waze - one of the smoother running android apps
JetBlue - lags like crazy, but does what I need
Marriott - big lag
Hertz - decent operation, some lag here and there
Etrade - just ok performance

I don't know about the rest of them, but I just used IMDb and it worked flawlessly.

The only apps I use out of that list is endomondo, and it works great on my Q10.

BlackBerry 10 doesn't run Android, but many Android apps are able to be run on BlackBerry 10. Not sure what you're trying to install...

Not all apps on Snap can run on your device. Apart from Google Maps that can run smoothly on Q10 (without login), other Google services won't work on BB without removing Google Play Services dependencies. You may refer to the following thread for more info on this.
