    Hello all,
Just picked up my first BlackBerry the other day (Q10), and so far I really like it and think it's a refreshing change of pace from the Androids and iPhones I've been used to for so long now. Only issue I have so far is a couple times now since I've gotten it (1-2 times a day), I'll go to turn on the screen to unlock the device (either by pressing the top button or by pressing the keys), and the screen will not turn on at all. If I hold down the top button, the shutdown/restart screen appears, and will disappear again upon letting go. However, the lock screen will never appear at any time by pressing the top button. It appears stuck in this state until I can issue the restart. Has anyone else had this issue? Would like to know if this is a common blackberry thing (could be a deal-breaker) or if it is just my device (so I can return it for a new one).

That's a software issue. What version of the OS are you running now?
