My wife and I were in Italy for 2 weeks and on our return trip from Rome to Toronto, I noticed a young women texting on her Q10. I also noticed she had very thick glasses and she had the screen right up to her face, while she typed. I never thought of it before, but a physical keyboard is just perfect for this situation, for a visually impaired person and a Q10 is the perfect smartphone.

Good for the Q10 and BlackBerry.

Thanks for sharing your experience and yes, I do think that the physical keyboard are the best for the disabled!

"Person with a disability", rather than just calling them disabled, is a more socially correct term

I can definitely see how people can type without looking but I still have not got there yet, even after two and half months of Q10.
