Q10 inbuilt video player don't have many options. Videos appear too small and it don't have any proper stretching option. I used an old version of MX player to watch videos which stretches videos full-screen without loosing any portions of the video. It is ok but still when stretched full-screen the original quality of the videos gets distorted. So again becomes unwatchable . Then I used BS player and bingo it does the job perfect . It has an option custom ratio. So when you use 4:3 ratio as default it stretches all videos ,not full screen but only to the extent where videos don't get distorted .I am adding screenshot of a video played in in-built video player and bs player.

Still it's an android app so it consumes battery faster. Can we request this must have feature for 10.3 OS? I don't know where to do it.

You do realize that by 'stretching' a video without distorting it that in fact means you are zooming it though right? As such you are missing any details that are to the right or left of center..

That said, in your above screen shot there definitely is distortion. Look at how tall the cabin is in the bottom shot versus the true proportions above.

It is a feature of 10.3, at least on passport.

My problem with videos is that when I download them directly from the net, I have to restart the device to access them from the videos and pictures apps respectively.

    On my Q10...

You are looking for the button in the top right corner.

EDIT: sorry, misread the OP. You want to distort the video? So 2004..

Only way to get a full screen video without losing any content off to the sides and without any distortion is to find yourself a video filmed in a 1:1 ratio, of which there aren't any. The Q10 screen is a perfect 1:1 square ratio. So, a format of 4:3 means it will only be 3/4ths as tall as it is wide.

That's what I hate about videos. When I watch any video be it on Youtube or wherever it cuts off the top and bottom.

Well, you did buy a device with a 3.1" square screen.
