A rep in store today informed me that the Q10 is no longer available for AT&T, after they tried to order the phone for me and set up a new line. According to the rep the Q10 is no longer being stocked by AT&T, manufactured, and is being discontinued on behalf of Blackberry. I was told I can purchase it elsewhere and they'd activate it for me and it didn't seem to be the common anti-Blackberry promo type thing that some people have experienced when trying to purchase a Blackberry. Now I just want to hear that the rep has been misinformed or is misunderstanding something

Well, I just went to att today to add a line and they didn't have them. They only had the z10. They won't order them there, but you can do it on the att website. I saw it today before I head out to the store. I just wanted to get it to day. So they are wrong as usual. You can get it on their website.

I also just inquired about a q10 over on another thread and they told me to go in amazon. In amazon they have them for 20 bucks for a 2 year contract. At att you have to pay 50.

Not sure but the q10 is still listed on att Web page for sale. Starting at 49.95.

These were my exact thoughts. The store I went to had the Z. Because none of the stores carry the Q the rep went online to at&t's website and was saying I could have it sent to the store or my house. Everything was good, we set up the new line and all that but when it was time to close the deal and finalize it a message popped up saying the Q10 is no longer available

When did you order it from online? Was this very recently? No but it wasn't in one of the display stands in the center.

I work for AT&T as in we are an authorized solution providers for AT&T. As per the latest updates the Z10 is for $0.99 and the Q10 is for $49.99. It wouldn't be available from the store but you may order it online or call the inbound number to order one. Believe me or not, the prices for the Bold 4 (9900) are still at $199.99 same as the Iphone 5S and the S5. The prices of Z10 and Q10 were the same 199.99 when they initially came to at&t but they dropped to the above mentioned. 9900 is priced at the same. T-Mobile is off erring the same deal for a Q10.

I went today to order it online, but I didn't. You can do the "next" method or for 2 years. Like I said earlier, if u do the 2#year contract you pay 50 bucks up front, if u do it via Amazon you only pay 20 upfront.

So you want to go from an iPhone to a Q10? Why not the z10?

When I was told Blackberry is discontinuing the Q10 i was like noooo this is lies! Lol. I didn't want to believe it. I get the Passport and Classic are coming out soon but it wouldn't make sense to end support and what not for the Q10. My first thoughts jumped on the conspiracy train lol, but I'll chock it up to misinformation on behalf of the rep.

I was in love with the Curve 9350 until it had connectivity issues and I had to resort to my backup phone which was this iPhone. I've always loved physical keyboards and used to have the Curve 3G years ago before water damage took it out of business. When I went to replace it the Sprint reps said all they had was androids and iPhones so I tried the Motorola Xprt for a while. When I dropped it and cracked the screen there were no qwerty options in store at Sprint at that time except clunky androids and they offered the iPhone 4 for free. Shortly after I wised-up and starting looking to Amazon and eBay for device shopping and got the 9350. Touchscreens are cool but I've never been too big on them, not my preference.

Checked "My ATT" The Q10 is listed twice. Once as "not available" and another listing perhaps a possible refurb?

The one that's not available is the refurbished one.

I wouldn't have a problem buying a refurbished one. It wouldn't be my first choice, but I trust companies to fix them 100% to specs, maybe I'm being to naive??

If your refurbished device is ever too bad, just contact BlackBerry. It has a manufacturers warranty as well.

wondering should i pull the plug on this w/ Amazon considering i really want a q10 & i have not had a cellphone since 2006; $20 for a q10 seems like a killer deal. what are my other options? buy one on ebay & BOYD somewhere? wait for the q20 or Passport? etc?

considering i have been so long w/o a phone waiting another month or so is not gonna kill me. but if its gonna be harder to get a q10 maybe the time is now?

So... This is reality. The Q10 for AT&T is apparently no longer available. Listed as "Out Of Stock For Shipping" on the website. http://m.att.com/shopmobile/wireless...q10-black.html

I see that they don't have it now. I believe yesterday they did because I was on the site and it wasn't faded out like it shows now. Refurbished is still available though. But why not get it on amazon for 20 new?

Yeah I was just on the website yesterday and it was in stock. Now it's not. I was aiming for going directly through AT&T just for avoidance of possible warranty issues, it seemed like it would be cleaner that way and would deal with less middlemen. But now that Amazon seems to be the remaining option aside from buying it unlocked and off contract or secondhand, amazon it is.

I wonder if the refurbished devices on att were returned because of the keyboard and they were replaced with newer keypads. Maybe a bit farfetched, but who knows.

I bought a Q from amazon once and had no problems with it. Then again I didn't stay with it for too long since I switched to the z.
