An update came up this morning, 10.1.0.4 if I remember correctly, and I installed the update on the phone. It was stuck for two hours on the final restart phase, the circle around the blackberry logo complete and purple. I then got fed up of this and kept on battery pulling until it came unstuck and loaded - it said to the old software. I then assumed this was an OTA issue so installed using the Apploader update method. All went well until the same phase. Same issue here, two hours in and I have turned it off by holding the power and by a battery pull but now i cannot get back to using the OS. Why is this taking so long to update? is it failing? and If it is not then I need a way of using my phone properly - when I had restarted it after update #1 the contacts nor phone app worked.

MR update 4181 has been known to take about 2.5 hours to update! especially OTA, so I suggest you reload your OS using link.
