Whats your opinion on the look of the Q10 if it had a 4 inch screen? Do you feel the device would have an appropriate look to it?

And still retain its 1:1 screen ratio, i.e. 720x720 screen res?
If so, that would be a pretty wide device.

If you consider BB set a fixed 1:1 screen ratio for QWERTY BB10 devices, a 4" keyboard phone would be huge, really huge. The display would be roughly 71mm wide and high, compared to roughly 55mm on the current Q10.
The dimensions of a 4" BB10 QWERTY would roughly rival those of a Galaxy Note 3. A device which I think is too large for my personal taste. In addition they'll also need to reshape the keys, either by making them just wider to keep overall high down or increasing their complete size which would make the device even taller.

It would be interesting to so how/if such a device can actually compete in the market. Personally I enjoy my Q10 and like the overall size, which still is pretty pocketable and don't mind that small 3.1" screen.

7.1cm x 7.1cm would be perfect!
I am a little frustrated with my little Q10 screen when i have to browse BBM channels (being able to see only 60% of the picture first and then clicking at least 3 times to see the entire picture is boring as hell!!!)
Z30 is 7.2 cm large and a Q30 has to be a little wider than a Q10.
I'd prefer a 1:1 ratio because it even spares you the flip to portrait/landscape mode.

I've used the Q and found the screen to be decent, it's really not that small. Ofcourse, i haven't used it day to day to see the quirks with it, hopefully by February i can get it through the jump program.
And I think a 3.5inch screen would be more feasible.

A bigger screen would be great for watching videos...

I don't see why they would force a 1:1 ratio, I would love a taller screen so I could rotate my phone for videos.

I'm dreaming of a BB10 device with a similar form factor as the torch, only with a bigger screen.

No thank you. I find the Q10 screen to be big enough for a qwerty candybar. I already have a tendency to hit the bottom right corner of the screen while reaching across to the top left corner
