Im about to install the leak so im hoping to get some feedback from other q10 owners out there. Is anyone experiencing problems? Such as missing keyboard shortcuts, unavailable teathering/wifi hot spot, bad battery life, specific Q10 apps not working, etc?

I am having a problem with my contact list. I have imported all the contacts from my Sim, tweaked the first 2 options in the phone settings but cant get my contact names to show up in the BB hub, some do and most dont.

This could be just me, I have searched for a fix, but none are working.

Wow if this is really the consensus, the Q10 10.2 update is way less problematic compared to the Z10.

On other threads there is a huge problem with wifi teathering/hot spot for example. But I guess it's only a Z10 problem.

Bad battery life is the only problem I have compared to 10.1. And I also tried killing all tasks with task manager but the results were the same.

Just install 10.2 leak yesterday. Have not found any issue so far. Didn't notice "bad batt life".

Only issue is I am not able to restore my backup data using BlackBerry Link.

i had problem restoring my backed up files, I had to restore everything up my sexy Q10 manually , Instagram not working Good , cant upload any pic , Skype not working . But overall its very sleekly and i love the awesome leak update..

So far am in love with the awesome leaked OS.10.2 so im dishin Skype and instagram perhaps untill i get another leaked update that fix those issues.

So far it seems more or less the same for me. Battery life didn't improve much nor did it get worse. Priority Hub is useless for me as of now. Maybe because I don't the difference between that and the regular hun except the red tag. The pop-up from the top of the screen is absolutely genius! My favorite upgrade, also having Tradition Chinese Pinyin input method is big for me. (Main reason why I updated) I don't care much for the new white colored calender. Having Task Manager is huge, although it should've been there since 10.0.0.0.0.0 in my opinion.
Before restoring your phone through link, it is recommended to do 'setting' restore first, and then your 'application' and 'media' restore. I did that and all my contacts, password keeper, pictures and music all stay intact the way it did before I upgraded to 10.2.1047.

No issues on my Q. Have 10.2 running since posted for download, just don't like white background in calendar but like new features, battery still good for me, lasts more than a day and I used to go thru 3 full batteries on my 9900

The only thing I've encountered is skype (beta version) does not work amd the app just crashes.

Battery life is as good if not better. I had a few annoyances setting up but have overcome all except for a way to keep interactive pop-ups turned on. Interaction with my car via blue tooth is greatly improved. Phone signal seems more reliable but that may be network related and not due to the OS. Overall it was one of the most worthwhile upgrades I ahve done.

....and Blackberry sucks, the company is dead and the phones are garbage. Lol....can you tell us what bugs you've had?

I've been running this leak since within hours of its release, and I can say, from my experience:

- the battery life is very good through the day...moderate use leaves me with roughly 40% after 14-16 hours.
- media plays without issues....music and videos.
- the browser is fast and responsive. Not sure why you say it sucks.
- Android player no better or worse since last stable 10.1 leak....at least for me.

The OP asked for specific issues....can you please elaborate on yours?

OP--if you do install it, make sure and install the 810 runtime file as well. It will run much, much smoother with the 810 in conjunction with the .1047. Also--UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES RESTORE APP DATA WITH LINK! If you do, it will screw up everything and you will end up having to wipe the phone. ONLY install setup and media files. Follow the steps on the "10.2.0.1047 tips and tricks" thread posted by Mecca EL on this site. If you do, you won't have a problem.
Instangram is an issue for sure but it will get worked out--and yes the back button/line is on bottom. Also if you are installing Skype, use the bar that has "raider" on it as it is the one that works. "com.skype.raider_v3.2.0.6673" is the file name. Works great!

The forced password every 30 seconds is really annoying.

I just noticed that on Battery Guru as well...it's possible that the App needs an update.

As for the automatic lock, I have mine set for 5 min, while the screen is set for 1 min, and it works fine...just tested it.
