Hi there,

Hoping someone else has had this problem or can offer a suggestion.

One day my speakerphone mic stopped working and has not worked since. I can hear the person on the other end of the call just fine but they can't hear me. Have restarted my phone lots of time since then - haven't done a device wipe yet (hate using BB Link so I try to avoid doing it).

I tried recording a video as well. The audio from my recorded video is barely audible (quiet and choppy).

Any chance this isn't a hardware problem?

It's possible if you dropped it recently before this issue occurred but honestly a reload of an OS would confirm for sure if you didn't drop it.

Don't know how to fix it but my friend had this problem and she used headphones as a temporary fix...

Definitely have dropped it a couple times... Will try a reload of OS. Any idea how much it would cost to fix?
