I just downloaded the free app Rad.io which has just been written about here in Crackberry. I have always known that the speaker sound is very good since I sometimes turn the speaker on on some calls. But this is the very first time i use it to play music. Loud and very crisp and clear. I would never have known that the music is playing on the phone and not on a real radio. I started playing music at around 10pm. It is now 1:30am and i would like to keep on listening.

I noticed this at well and really like the speaker. It's great to see how well the Q10, despite the rather small/odd screen, can handle multimedia tasks.

Yes the speakers are great but its location is not ... atleast for me I hate its bottom location...

I agree with this, I think the speaker is great, but they should have kept the speakers on the face above the screen like on the Bold 9900

The speaker is amazing. I was with my family yesterday and at one point my phone started ringing (max volume) and my mother was like "that is a very clear sound". It's by far the best sound I experienced on a phone. It's even louder and more clear than the speakers on my laptop

The position doesn't bother me either. I don't like it when speakers are on the back panel of the phone as the sound is muffled when the phone starts ringing on the table. With it being positioned on the bottom of the device I don't have that problem.

Depends on what you compare it to. Compared to my previous phones - it's bloody amazing.

Comparing it with my bolds, this is much better. And the speaker of the iphone 5 in the household does not come close.
