So I remember a time when doing technical support we could download all the blackberry simulators for the legacy devices and pretty much go through the same motions as if you were holding it in your hands.
I am trying to find the same thing for the Q10, I downloaded what seemed to be a simulator which actually requires VM (I'm not that devote)
edit : I thought it needed the full VM suite but it seems the player will do, still my question stands, is there such a thing or do we absolutely need the VM player?

Is there still such a simulator that will install and launch the blackberry on your desktop like the old type simulators?

    help

    Fred.

All the BlackBerry 10 simulators (and the PlayBook simulator, but that's not important) are VMWare images. You need VMWare Player (the free, easy one) and the rest of these: https://developer.blackberry.com/dev...uirements.html
