Well, my Q10 fell 15 feet onto my studio floor on Thursday. I ordered a new screen and keyboard and set of tools on Friday and today it is resurrected :-) I am one happy bunny, swapping was fairly straightforward - good old you tube and good to go for another couple of years hopefully!

Thanks Jaydee, it taught me not to keep Q10 in my top pocket lol! Good in a way as I was struggling with a keyboard that was double typing so changed that and it all cost less than 30 to do so very happy :-)

Cool! I'm thinking about doing the same, my keyboard is kind of scratched so as my screen.

Thanks Techgod, it is almost 2 years old now and I am due an upgrade next month but still love the Q1o lol.

It is worth doing the fix if your keyboard and screen are scratched, doesn't cost much and if you just take your time, it is not too difficult to do :-)

It's also nice to do just as a little gift to youself, replace the housing as well, not expensive, and you can have a brand new phone basically.

Yes, replacing the housing is something I may look at in the future - today has been an emergency lol but now I know how straightforward it is and as you say, the phone then looks brand new :-)

I'm going to look for all the pieces needed in these days and change it as soon as possible. The screws are T6?

They vary, some are T3, T4 and small Phillips I think - I brought a tool set for less than three pounds which included some plastic tools for levering things off without causing damage, they were very handy.
