Sure it is! The next Updates (10.3(.1) and 10.4) are rumoured to be avaliable for Q10, so you can bet on support until 2015 (? ).

Please correct me, if I'm wrong!

Given the fact that Classic has just been launched with almost same h/w as the Q10, we can safely expect that BlackBerry will support the Q10 with s/w updates for quite some time.

At current prices Q10 is definitely a good deal :-)

BBRY still supports the 9900 and OS 7.1. I'd say you're safe for at least a few years. Heck, I still use an iPhone 3Gs that dropped off of Apple's supported devices last year and it hasn't melted down yet.

My previous phone is a Nokia N8 that served me well for 3 years then, replaced it with my awesome BBQ10, first week of november. There are tons of latest phone models and decided to go for a BB. And im glad I did.

Yes, go for it! It's a great phone and the removable battery was one of the things that pushed me into getting the Q10 once I found out the Classic wouldn't have one.

I had one sold it and bought a z30, now I'm on ebay looking for another q10. It's just a nice sized device. Great battery life and easy to carry around.

I would go for Classic instead. I had a chance to play with it for a bit.

If you're in the market for a traditional qwerty device then yes it is. The Classic isn't a massive bump in specs compared to the Q10 and the Q is cheaper. Unless you can't live without the toolbelt the Q10 should fit your needs.

Stronger than the Classic specs wise (excluding screen size)

    Go for it!

Ecellent device. Z30 is too...a bit more money...but both are top-rated devices. Keypad or large viewing screen, whichever is more important to you. Q10 though is a great piece of equipment with long track history in 2013 and 2014 of satisfied users. Some not most have the doubletyping issue, but that is easily fixable. (Assuming it actually happens which seems rare). I loved the feel and size of my Bold 9900...the Q10 reminds me of that, while also giving me the speed and options of BB10 operating system. Worth it, man, worth it.

Q10, will be like the bold in years to come... in 2020, no doubt people will still use the Q10.

If price difference is not too much for you, definitely go for classic.

I've had my Q10 for a long long time now, and I've been missing that tool belt all along.

Does not worth changing now, but don't take a bad decision now it is available.

    Hello

I've had the same Q10 since June 13 and it has been a brilliant & reliable phone.

Each software update adds to the features and enhances the Q10.

I'd happily have another if this Q10 gave up.

Q10 is fine, depending which device you own. If you really want a new experience give a try to passport.

I'd still buy a Q10 right now. The performance is still good enough for my needs, with 10.3.1 around the corner, there should be some highly awaited features and functionality on the horizon.

Q10 - amazing phone and available for low price.

Classic- It is basically a slightly bigger Q10 with Toolbelt.

Passport- amazing specs, big screen, expensive and nothing like it in the market

So it comes down to three things--- First, your budget. Second, size of the phone. Third, type of keyboard.

If you have a budget to work with and can manage a big phone go for passport. In between Q10 and Classic - only major difference is toolbelt and for that you will have to pay the premium if you decide to go for Classic instead of Q10. Just ask yourself how important is toolbelt for you.

One has to keep in mind that Blackberry could decide to bring "10.4" to Classic and not to Q10/Z10 although there are no technical reasons to stop supporting them, just to make people buy newer devices As Blackberry has no roadmap for future releases or public plans how long device support lasts (apart from Software Support Life Cycle - Canada) this is just speculation.

However, with the speed BlackBerry is pushing out OS (10.3.1), I would say that it will be very long till 10.4 is available and I would have changed phone by then (2 more years at least, I guess)
