    Hey y'all!

Searched a few times but couldn't find anything. I'm sure it's been brought up before.
I got my BBQ10 (see what I did there?!) a few weeks ago and so far I'm really happy with it. The battery life is really great.
I'm on 10.1.4200 (Tmobile) and I'm unplugging my phone at 6:30 am and by 10:30 pm I still have about 65% battery (average use).

I know batteries get worse with time and I was thinking about getting one (or two) of these:
MPJ 2500mAh High Capacity Extended Battery NX1 NX-1 For Blackberry Q10

It's got great reviews but I wanted to see what people here think, if they've tried it and how it works.

    Cheers!

Haven't tried this specific battery, instead I bought the nx1 original battery with charger of Blackberry from Amazon. For about the same price, my experience with these non-branded batteries is not very good.

I'd recommend just going with the regular NX-1 battery. If battery life has been pretty good for you, it's not worth the uncertainties for going with a non OEM battery (In most cases)

I bought the BlackBerry branded charger-battery bundle for my Q10. Not only is it both a spare battery *plus* a charger, the form factor is incredibly cool and ingenious. You can use it to charge both batteries at once from your BlackBerry wall charger, or you can attach it to your phone's USB and use it as a backup battery. It's very small and flat so you can hold it under the phone, barely noticing it's there.

The reason I was asking about this specific battery is because it's 2500mah vs the 2100mah battery that comes with the phone.
That's almost 20% more battery power. I understand that battery quality is obviously a big thing and 2100mah from one manufacturer can last longer than 2500mah from another...

Is the battery the same size? Or does the battery come with a battery door because the OEM one won't fit it?

I am interested in this as well. I read the reviews, 5 of them, but they are for various phones. Wish someone would have some real world experiences with it.

Since it seems to be the same size I'd be weary of this, I still highly recommend the OEM NX-1 battery

    Agreed burned once twice shy!
Off topic. And wwith batteries I always buy original for phones computers cameras and any other electronic device. I once went on line to purchase a "HP compatible" laptop battery and it charged the first timw then the chip from computer locked the battery and was no longer usuable after the first charge, and because of this I NEVER ever buy grey market batteries. Batteries allways buy original!

I would trust that battery far more than the one you posted.
For myself, I find a spare battery without an external charger useless so I bought this:

Let's me swap batteries through the day if needed

If the 3rd party battery blows up, leaks, won't hold a charge, won't charge, etc. I would assume no.

It was a rhetorical question lol, that was my point. Not worth it for a little extra juice IMO.
