I am not sure its worth waiting on because of the BB10 new OS looks to be best utilized with a full touch screen. I have a 9930 and love it but I never even use the touch screen on the phone because of the trackpad. Q10 have no trackpad and you will have to touch the screen to navigate the device, so I figured if I have to suffer without a trackpad I might as well jump all in with a touch screen and purchase the Z10 when available.

i agree. The updates have made the 9900 the best OS7 device imo. Was definitely my favorite of all the devices i've owned/used.

@BBKrzy If you do go with the 9900...pick up a playbook, you won't regret it...
You were doing fine until you mentioned the Playbook . Wait for the Playbook2 if there is one. It would be to the Playbook what the Z10 is to the Storm.

Uh no thanks, i might as well stick with my iphone 5 in that case. I want my qwerty keyboard!
    iphone 5 > Zero10 by a countrywide. Let's hope the 10Q is a redeemer.

I am not happy about this situation but I will wait because I love my 9800 and will only replace it with a Q10 or BB10 SLIDER.

Not true. It will probably be 10 times better with a keyboard when on the go ( -) the big screen for movies and such

definitely no trackpad, look at any provided picture of the Q10, although no Send / End buttons, only QWERTx keyboard and square touchscreen

The Q10 have a big screen? It looks just a half inch bigger than my 9930 and I would never suffer to watch a full movie on the 9930.

    Q10 screen
DISPLAY Type Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
    Size 720 x 720 pixels, 3.1 inches (~328 ppi pixel density)

    9930 screen
Type TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
    Size 640 x 480 pixels, 2.8 inches (~286 ppi pixel density)

I do not think a jump from 2.8 inch screen to 3.1 screen would make movie viewing anymore pleasurable.

Yes I can say that the Q10 is definitely worth the wait. I played with one briefly at the UK BB10 launch event and it feels GREAT I'm the hands! Software was incomplete on the one I used though. But yep, I'd say it's worth the wait.

I Will be getting one even though I already got a Z10 touch screen keyboards just don't feel as satisfying as a full qwerty with no predictive text required! Just my 2p.

To me.. The Z10 is a cheap comparison of the iphone 5. Sorry, but it is. I have always been a qwerty lover. I miss that.
I wouldn't say it's a cheap comparison to the iphone. I too want a qwerty phone, am a 9900 user right now, but it's not like the iphone is a qwerty phone either, so you're comparing touchscreen to touchscreen, and sorry, the Z10 is superior to the iphone in every way... Well, maybe except for the camera.

If what you really want is a keyboard. There is no point in down grading to a 9930 your not going to like how its speed wont match your current iPhone and I dont think you'll be impressed. Hold out for the QWERTY!!! (: It will be well worth it.
I'm sorry, I have the 9900 and it's not a "downgrade" from an iphone. Sure the iphone is technically faster with a better processor and better graphics ability, but so far whenever I'm out with friends and they have the iphone, I ALWAYS beat them in getting things done like making phone calls, doing internet searches, finding places on the map, etc. etc. So for me, going from the 9900 to the iphone will be a downgrade...

Let's be realistic here. Anyone who learns a task well will be quicker performed on any phone. It's about preference. I prefer the 9900 too. Others will say the opposite

I just think you wont pay the full 600 out pocket... if you have the Ip5 you could sell that one for at least 350 and just put the rest - that is the advantage of always having a new phone we always end up just putting like 150... i cant wait for the q10...

Yeah it would. At the Q10 release they both will most likely be running the same OS version, but as far a updates after that, who knows. BB7 devices don't update the same, but BBRY might change that. Also I believe Carriers still dictate the z10 OS updates being pushed out. Until they have a solid app presence(meaning releasing all the promised apps) and bring back more BB7 features people love, I'll stick with the functionality of the 9900 than the 1.0.
    BlackBerry10 is not a 1.0 OS its a 3.0 OS

Then apparently none of my friends have learned doing any task other than playing games well on their phone? Because I've literally been "undefeated" when it comes to getting anything done fast... Sometimes I give them a headstart before I even take my phone out and I still always beat them to it...
