    Hi,

When you're using your Q10 during a phone call, is contact with your ear sometimes causing the call to end by your ear (or earing(s)) accidentally coming in contact with the End Call button on the screen, thus dropping the call? If so, how have you resolved this, if you have? When trying to reposition the phone on your ear to avoid accidentally tapping the End Call button, does it become difficult to hear the other party because the phone now isn't positioned incorrectly on your ear? Has anyone figured a way around this?

When using speaker phone, does the person on the other end of the call tell you that you sound over modulated, too loud, in a barrel, distorted, but then when speaker phone is turned off, the issue goes away? If so, how have you resolved this or worked around it? Interestingly, some have also actually expressed that they cannot hear when on speaker phone, but then turning speaker off, issue goes away.

    VZW, Q10, 10.1.0.2011, SQN100-2

    TIA

Your phones screen should automatically turn off with your ear going to it. That's the point behind the proximity sensor. If it doesn't, something is wrong. May be hardware, may be software, hard to tell at this point.

As for speaker phone I have again not encountered this, nor is it normal.

My first suggestion immediately is a security wipe. If the problems persist than it is hardware based, and you should get your device exchanged.
