Anyone heard anything about how much the q10 will retail for full price? The Z10 is retailing for 600 bucks but i didn't read anything about the Q10.

$699 would be insane, since it would translate to 699-729 in the EU, which clearly would be over the top for a company trying to grab a hold in a crowded market.
$629 at most, 549-599 would be best.

I can't wait for the Q10 to come out... I have to test it out for sure and see if I prefer that or the Z10 I have now...! So happy to hear it's the same price the Z10 was if its true!

Oh, here we go again. Given that the Z10 was estimated as high as $800 you can pretty much toss those numbers out the window.

The Q10 will be priced competitively just like the Z10.

that's kinda hopeful.. considering the 9900 is still $599... i'd say it would be the same price point as the Z10.. may $50 more if anything

Varies with the carrier really. With verizon, the 9930 is 509.99. I hope the Q10 will be about that. It would be outrageous for RIM to have an outrageous price tag to go with it seeing as their company is plummeting.

yeah i agree. It does vary by carrier...should've mentioned that this was in Canada (Rogers, specifically)

I think it would be a bit cheaper than z10 since the GPU is different and probably the cost would less to make a 3.1 screen and put keys..

It would be nice if it were cheaper but I bet it will be at least the same price. You'll get a bigger battery and since the screen is smaller, I bet they want to make sure it gets through at least one full day no matter what you throw at it. (Two days of use would be even better!) Plus they should throw in a holster since it is likely more for business types/power communicators (surprised that the Z10 doesn't come with one in Canada).

Plus if it comes down to carriers setting the price, they'll put it as high as possible to get people to sign up for contracts. All new top end BB's have gone for pretty much $600 in Canada so I really can't see it going for anything less than the Z10 even if it isn't full touch screen.

That's for sure...let's hope its not up to the carriers! I was a bit disappointed that the Z10 didn't come with a sleeve atleast or a holster that normally comes with every blackberry i've ever bought lol. Maybe its as the device is new too and they have kept the price pretty low all things considered. I'm not sure but this has been the lowest price of a new flagship BBRY device?

    speculation is entertaining to read.

Not gonna pay over $250 on prepaid. Looks like
I'll be digging what I have for quite awhile...fine with me....

P.S. may seem laughable...but eventually the price will come down
and when demand slows.....Boost will scoop some up.
    Won't buy a z10.....just ran from a large touchscreen..

That would be odd, considering the Z10 is $139 on contract at Telus.
I would suggest the Q10 is $149 on contract at the most.

Q10 will definitely be priced at a higher price point than the Z10 mainly due to the fact that it is a physical QWERTY smartphone and there aren't many others to compete with.

If you look at release-day prices for the older Bold and Torch models, things point to the Q10 either costing the same or at most $50 less.
