It's a great size for most emails. It's a bit small for other things. Life is full of such compromises.

Don't know about the Z30 being the most portable 5 inch device. I feel like that might be the S4. I have never held the Z30 but samsung has worked hard to decrease the bezels.

I'm of the view that too little bezel is not a good thing in terms of ergonomics and general ease of use. My girlfriend has the S3 and it has so little bezel that it's hard to hold it without activating some touch function accidentally, so you can't wrap your hands around it easily to use both thumbs when typing etc. The Z30 on the other hand seems to hit the 'sweet spot' in this regard, I find it perfect.

It's a phone, I'm not "running it" or "rocking it" I just use it. Z30STA100-2/10.2.1.3062

    EDIT:
Sorry for double post, I added to this one but quoted myself accidentally instead of editing in CB app so I have now fixed this one as there is no option to delete a post. Ignore the previous one please

The Q10 is a great size for me --- very unobstrusive but with a screen large enough to read comfortably.

I love the Q10. It looks great, functions amazingly well and has a good feel to it. The issue is that I have large hands and thumbs, so when shopping for a new BlackBerry device about a year ago, I chose the Q5. The one reason the Q5 won out over the Q10 in my case was that the little extra room between keys and lack of frets on the Q5 actually made for an easier typing experience for me. Same thing with the Z10. I loved its size for everyday use. But after using the Z30, again my larger hands just felt more comfortable on a bigger phone. People are different and come in all shapes and sizes and have different needs. That is what makes BlackBerry so great: they continue to design and build a variety of different devices. I am grateful that BlackBerry offers a choice in its styles and abilities of its handsets. Go BlackBerry Go.
