I think no case is best. Just my opinion though. Q10 is very durable.

Mine doesn't overheat and I use a hard case. I'd check to see what's running hard for your to do that first.

Phone manufactures do years of RnD and then make phones. Every thing is taken in consideration. Use the case blindly dude in today's date all phones become hot because of the processors. Enjoy ur q10.

I use a rubber case. yes, using a hard case could cause the phone to heat up a bit but if it's overheating by a large margin, I suggest you check the phone

I would suggest closing applications you aren't using AND killing the android runtime on occasion. Doing it requires Awesome Launcher (from BlackBerry World, free), reload/refresh the app listings, scroll down to Dev Tools, select it, then Bad Behavior, then Crash System Server. Bingo.

Had that happen to me a few times.

Check your battery first. Sometimes overheating happens because of the battery, so you must think of changing it. And as they said above, close apps. Hard cases doesn't cause overheat.

-If you haven't already done so:Search for and download Awesome Launcher from BlackBerry World, install it.1-Launch it.-Tap Reload Apps.2-Scroll down to Dev Tools, tap it. Select Bad Behavior. Now select Crash System Server. That's it. (Note it down everybody).
