Today just out of curiosity I went on BlackBerry website, clicked on "shop" & the Q10 was not being offered for sale. Are we being thrown under the bus? My attitude now is that is that you will pry my Q10 out of my cold dead hands. My next option would be a Porche, but $1000 for a phone is crazy.

I don't understand what you mean by being thrown under the bus. Are you saying that you expect them to be manufacturing and selling a two year old phone when there's a newer model available, that being the Classic?

I suspect their last batch of Q10s was bought by someone, maybe a government or some corporation since they normally only buy devices that have been tested for a year or two. If you're desperate for one, I suggest the Classic or eBay.

The Z10 and Q10 have been out of production for ages.

Current lineup is Leap, Classic, and Passport.

Thanks for the clarification. My Q10 is my 1st ever BlackBerry phone. I've only had it a year, so I guess I'm still a BlackBerry. "Newbie" bit now I don't know how I ever got along w/out it

They had a sale on Q 5 and 10 a month or two ago. Have you called and asked cs? Sometimes there's a few lying around somewhere just not enough worthy of promotion.
