How long will I be able to use my Q10 once BB discontinues OS 10? I l love love love my Q10 and want to use it as long as I can.
You can use it as long as it keeps functioning for what your needs are, until you find that it doesn't perform all that you want from a device. I still have a Motorola flip phone that works to this day with no issues and they haven't been made for years.
Feels like pending doomsday to me. I dunno when but it's there...

What did you want us to say? The truth of the matter is that machines last so long before parts wear out and fail. The human body is the same I am afraid to tell you. Sooner than you know it your body will start to fail you and then you'll realize (if the pain is bad enough) that death will be welcomed.
Unfortunately all things come to an end. But the good thing is I still see a few people using flip phones. I guess for the people that don't like touchscreen phones so their is hope to be different.
As I mentioned before, not long ago I did the jump from the Z30 into the little allmighty Q10 boat. No regrets eversince whatsoever, no turning back, happy at its most using the one and only phone that suites all my needs. I'll use it until the very end, no matter what this might look like.
Keep it up!
BTW...there's a second brand new one I bought to have it around. Who knows, just in case..
Thinking the end is upon us, I just did some research over the past few days comparing my Q10 to the iPhone SE and to Windows 10 Mobile, and also looked closely at the Priv. I have concluded that I am sticking with my Q10 until it no longer functions; hopefully by that time something suitable will have emerged. The Priv is tempting, but too big. Windows 10 doesn't seem to integrate well with its desktop counterparts (baffling). The reviews of the iPhone SE on Verizon complain of dropped calls and poor call audio. No one has anything quite like the Hub. BB10, despite shortcomings relative to BBOS and despite the app gap, seems way head of other OS's. For the few Android apps I need, I will pray that the runtime continues to work and hope for the best.
I love this Q10. It does almost everything I need, and does it very well. And with a spare battery in my wallet, it does it for a long, long time.
I agree with all that has been said here. The Q10, in my opinion, is the best handset BlackBerry has ever conceived -- and I've been using the devices since the trackwheel days. I'm hoping the Vienna incorporates many of the Q10's desirable features.

I keep coming back to my Q10, too. The size, user-replaceable battery, BB10, and the physical keyboard are just too good to give up.
Get a fresh one, I did and it made a difference. Then I got another, and another. Just beware the Amazon sellers -- some aren't really new and hard to tell.
I keep a Q10 in its box. I purchased a Blackberry holster for it yesterday from crackberry for $6.95 on the daily special. Not sure why I bought the Q a gift as I can never go back to it as its too small compared to my Passport! Feels like a kids toy to me now. It was one of my favorites but then again, all my Blackberrys were my favorites . Ok, time to stop rambling on.
I've sold my Q10 (and an OG Passport) and bought a Z30. It's been weeks, but lately I've been ogling PKB devices, including the Bold 9930 and even the Android with PKB. Not that I complain using the Z30 --i love it, I love the fast and correct typing I could do with its VKB, but I had been using a PKB for well over a year before, it never occurred to me I would miss having and doing it again, even if it's just for the sake of variations.
I've never had a legacy device before.
Strictly typing, can anyone really tell me which keyboard is better, softer and easier: the Q10 or the 9900?
