Hi guys,

i've had a Q10 since the phone hit the market.

it was fine for a while, then like so many other people, i started to get the strange keyboard behavior (mainly over sensitive keys, so that i'd get double letters during normal typing). i lived with it, since i really prefer the physical keyboard.

sometime last year, i got a software update, and that magically fixed the keyboard. it was perfect, good as new.

but after about a week, same thing... until it got just as bad as before.

just today i got another software update (I'm now on 10.2.1.2941, which is the latest for here in the Philippines).

and guess what? yes, keyboard is PERFECT again. i can type long sentences, paragraphs w/o any hint of the keyboard weirdness.

i'm willing to bet that by this time next week, it will be back to the borky way it was before.

frustrating.

any ideas WTH is going on? i've learned to live with the weirdness, but if a software update fixes things-- albeit temporarily-- there must be a way to keep the keyboard working properly! it clearly is NOT a hardware issue in my case, if a software update fixes it!

I do believe it's a physical issue- not a software.


I had the issue and got it replaced under warranty.
