I don't f*****g get it and I have already lost multiple contacts saved on my sim.
I was exporting the sim contacts so I can manage and merge (link) contacts with BBM and FB contacts. Next thing I know, the local contacts are showing the same phone numbers and my sim contacts are missing! WTF is this?!

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix or something?
It may well be that Sim Contact under the Setting is off. Swipe down in Contact app to show Setting if you don't know where to find the Setting for Contact.

It's on. And I inserted my sim onto a different phone and the contacts were indeed deleted.
