Been having some issues with my lower speaker not working. Earphone speaker works fine. It's a hardware issue as I can smack the bottom of the phone and it'll start working again. Problem being is that it's happening more frequently.

So I've been trying to find a replacement speaker and all I can find is the earphone speaker. Is the bottom speaker a part of the housing and does it come with a replacement housing? Anyone ever taken one of these apart before? All the videos I find don't mention that speaker.

search for microphone and not speaker if its the bottom one for speaking into.

Your probably going to have to send back for warranty work.

There is a speaker on the bottom that plays the ring tones, music etc that i'm having issues with. Is it a part of the microphone? I think the mic is the little hole beside the bottom speaker.

I haven't been able to find that speaker listed separately, so it must be a part of the keyboard, mid plate or frame. Was hoping that I could just order the parts and not to have to pull it apart twice as i've never taken one apart before. Lol

As an update the bottom speaker is a part of the midplate. Ordered one from over seas, installed it and the speaker was horrible, very distorted sounds. So I reinstalled the original, will order a new one from a reputable north American vendor and try that out.

As a side note, I got a red frame from the same place and installed that and it looks good. Lol
