Someone at Radio Shack told me that Blackberry was moving away from consumers in favor of Businesses.

I do not know if this is true, but my local Verizon stores do not carry any Blackberries.
    I even looked at AT&T

I am now wondering if the Android/iPhone market is better.

I can order the Q10 or Z10 online from ebay.

    My choice is
    1. Q10 or Z10
    2. Black or White

Anyone have both that can comment?

    Seems the Q10 cost more.

I am sending back my moto x.

My local Verizon store didn't stock them either. I just ordered it online from Verizon. Got it in a couple days and took it to the store last night to get it set up. That was easy. Now the hard part is learning how to use it. Its a world of difference from my 9650 Bold...

Have you used Android before or always BB?
Looking for your experience between both.

It's nice that my moto x is hands free, but I think I may like the Q10 better.

Here in NJ just ordered my Q10 from my Verizon store. Where are you located and have you spoke to anyone from your carrier?

I went the online route when ordering my Q10 last December through VZW though at that time, my neighborhood Verizon store DID have a Q on display, largely ignored.

And that Radio Shack rep was not correctly informed. Blackberry's strength is still in the enterprise business and CEO Chen stated that they would focus on their strength. HOWEVER, there is still some demand for consumer BB devices so for the time being, BB will continue making devices for both consumer and businesses. (Which is the reason why the Passport and Classic are being released to both.)

In terms of which is better, well, sorry to say that the previous BB regime largely made that happen by not taking Apple and Google phones seriously and in turn, going into ANY cellphone store in the US as a BB user will turn into a battle over "don't buy BB, BB is dead, out of business, etc" and "you want this Android device, this Android device has a keyboard, see?" or "iPhone this, iPhone that." It's sad what it has become, but hey, choices and ways to buy what we want are plentiful

Being an Android user (have a Nexus 7 tablet), I see pros and cons in both BB10 and Android OS in terms of flow and usability.

I get the feeling Big Red's moving away from BlackBerry. The fact they let AT&T get an exclusive on the Passport tells me they don't really care about BlackBerry.

The 9650 Bold. Man, that phone was gorgeous. Good ol' days of blackberry and crackberry nation. I remember when those legacy devices were just rumored haha.

Verizon is no longer carrying BlackBerry devices in store. All devices are direct to fulfillment through online or phone purchasing with Verizon. This includes the Z10, Q10, Z30, and Bold 9930 with and without the camera.

Having had all the devices, I would recommend the Black Q10 hands down if you're deciding between Z10 and Q10 and Black and White. The White Q10 looks great but has a slick back and is quite slippery. The Black Q10 just looks stealth. Get it, you'll be pleased aesthetically and functionally.

I ordered my verizon Q10 off ebay. Phone came in the mail and I put my old android sim into it - couldn't have been easier. I got a white one because my significant other has a black Q10.
