    I have a Q10 SQN100-3 on software 10.2.1.2977 using the Three network and I am having problems with email ,
    If I send a message it gets a 'tick' as if it has been sent but sometimes it doesn't arrive at the other end.
    I have even tried 'reply' to recieved email
    I am using the 3g mobile network to send/recieve .
    I saw a similar complaint on the Z10 forum

    Any ideas ?

    Hi there, what sort of email is it? EAS like outlook/hotmail or imap like gmail?

    Im not entirely sure,
    I thought it was IMAP, but when I look at 'edit account' the 'imap path prefix' is blank and it has 'SMTP port' set as 465

    It must be IMAP, because when I delete an e-mail on my phone it deletes from the mailbox and does not show up on my laptop

    I'm guessing it must be something to do with my 3g provider as it seems to have fixed itself. Is there any way to request a read or delivery report on Q10 ?

    Happens to me last week using Gmail. Weird. I restarted the phone and the problem is gone (so far!)
