March 2013: I bought a Z10 and enjoyed it even though the battery sucked.

June 2013: I bought a Q10 and once I clicked the physical keyboard again I knew I was home.

January 2014-present day: I bought a Z30 and initially put the Q10 away and sold the Z10. Amazing sound, screen, battery life...but something was missing? One handed use was gone, keyboard shortcuts gone, and then the loose volume keys and the ear piece speaker cracked...durability gone. After Z30 refurb after refurb from VZW which all experienced a battery indicator and LED indicator issue, I'm back home on the Q10. I'll stash the Z30 away for a bit and see if a fix for those issues ever comes about...I could sell it on EBAY, too!

    Future: Q20/BB Classic...?

Had a Z10 for a year and UPGRADED to a Q10! Not looking back at all! Played around with my mom's Z10 the other day and don't miss it at all!

I liked the Q10 but I need a big screen at this point. Well maybe not a big screen but a wide screen aspect screen. The 1:1 kills me on the inside.

Got away from the q10 a few days ago and miss the keypad but love bigger screen, especially for certain apps. May get the q10 again or the q20 as a back up

Glad you like the Q10, but I still do not understand the people who change phones that often. I try to get at least three years out of a phone, not only to save money but also for the environmental reasons too

Also, it is not a good idea to buy a product (of any company) on the launch day. Most often there are imperfections either in the software or the hardware and manufacturers change their manufacturing accordingly during the first months of the product launch.

This is why I just bought my Q10, nearly a year after its release. The new 10.2.1 feels great and I hope all the manufacturing defects are now taken care of.

Q10 is the best BlackBerry 10 device or even the best smart phone ever. I have one in black and another in white. I like the Z series, but this phone is amazing and I can't imagine having a different phone. The clickety clack of the physical key board makes me very happy. And the size of the Q10 is amazing to me as well. I think that BlackBerry should really consider making many more devices like this one. Whether you're iPhone or Android, BlackBerry bar none, steals the show.

Definitely love this Q10 and my legacy bold 9900, both of them are great (The Q20 will compliment both anyways ), and yes, for environmental reasons, I would rather use the same phone for many years to come so I won't create waste at all. Actually, both this Q10 and my bold 9900 are used regularly, I swap 'em. (love both anyways).

The process of producing the phone itself generates a considerable amount of waste. I think most people don't simply throw away their old phones, their either handed out, traded in, or kept as throwaway devices.

I shudder at the fact that I found four phones that worked fine in the bin at my apartment. So it's no always the case. I don't know how many people just toss them in the bin/trash without reconsidering to take it to a carrier store to have it turned in for recycling (especially if it's not compatible with a new network or said network is being phased out for a new one entirely) instead of into the bin.

I may go back to the keypad eventually. I miss my keypad but trying to adjust with my z10. I will give myself some time to adjust. If I go back to the q10 it will be just for texting and emails....maybe even my music, but as far for my other apps I'd get an ipod 5.

You have the same BB10 history as I do, except I still use my Z10 too sometimes. I'd been on my Z30 from two weeks ago until today, when I switched back to my Q10, and I gotta say... I love the keyboard still.

The Z30 is perfect to me, it's such a nice device, but I almost feel like having both the Z30 and my Q10 on two separate lines so I didn't have to just use one at a time with my sim... though I definitely have no need for another phone number haha. I'll be getting the Q20 or Classic or whatever whenever it comes out.

I am a blackberry user because communication is more important to me than apps or media. With great battery life and the keyboard, I feel the Q10 is a better communication tool than my old Z10. I had Netflix, YouTube, BBC Iplayer, and games on my Z10, I didn't use them. The Q10s 1:1 screen is not a great problem for me, and when the Z10s keyboard is on the screen you are left with a 1:1 screen anyway. For media, I can use my playbook, Ipad mini, or laptop. But when it comes to replying to a email of a facebook message, I would choose my laptop or my Q10 over the Ipad or the playbook.
It would be nice to have the toolbelt back, it will make using the Q20 more efficient than other BB10 devices.

    Sad News!

As a "complete" business communication tool the Q10 is sadly deficient. I think the problem centers around the square screen dimension.

One cannot effectively present a powerpoint or a webpage over Miracast without cropping of the screen. It is horrible and In this regard the Q10 fails.

Since the Z30 is the only other Blackberry device with Miracast compatibility, it runs circles around the Q10. One can rotate the Z30 and get the Full Screen (landscape orientation) to a projector via Miracast.

I originally purcahsed a Dell Venue 8 Pro to be used exclusively as a presentation tool - it didnt work out. As i mentioned the Q10 failed. We have since purchased a Z30 added a blue tooth keyboard and mouse and we have the best small form factor tool used exclusively for presentations.
