So I formatted everything and I wanted to put playstore to install social networks and whatsapp, but I needed the OS for that (10.02 at least), so I wipe my blackberry q10, I installed the OS 10.02.1.1927 and it works , but I notice that important applications are missing (such as music, video, story maker, application manager ... Applications that should be pre-installed by themselves), why does that happen? With all this, the phone works anyway, I can even call and send messages, link my blackberry ID and format it again, but I cannot, for example, change the wallpaper (it does not change) or anything, I wanted to install the latest OS (like 10.3.1.997) but when I run the autoloader of said OS, it doesn't finish installing and at the end it throws "Error: Failed to load Images. Error: Security error". So I can only install that operating system for you, I would greatly appreciate your prompt reply, Thanks in advance!
Others will help you get the latest OS going, which is up to 10.3.3.xxxx, BTW.
The reason you were missing apps with the OS you tried is because that was a “Developer" OS. Those were purposely cut back on features for app developers to test their apps on. It isn't made for regular use. I'm surprised BlackBerry still has that developer site up because I know Google will pull that site up first, or very early, when searching. Try to avoid that next time.
Whatsapp will work with a download directly from the BB10 browser. Google Play does not work on BB10 by itself, and the Cobalt patched Play Store method is very old (although some still use it).
Many other social media apps have problems or outright won't work with BB10 because the Android runtime is forever stuck at 4.3 Jelly Bean. While Google Play Services technically still supports Jelly Bean, many apps don't.
