It is more efficient to look at 1 calendar & view the different types of appointments (e.g. work vs. personal) instead of viewing different calendars. If not, does anyone know of a calendar app for BB that does this? Thanks for your help.

I don't know of one offhand. I agree with you, I'd prefer one calendar, with color-coded entries. I got around it by not using the BB10 calendar at all, and importing my Google calendar instead. At least I can see the different colors on the desktop that way and it syncs to my Q10.

You can "play" with the "status"
    Available makes a transparent bar
    Busy a full colored
    Away a checker field
    Indecise a oblique lined motive
It does not color-code but these are 4 bars to distinguish at sight what kind of appointment it is in the daily view.
I use work appointment as busy (full bar) and private appointments as available (transparent bar) within the same calendar.

Oh I noticed this sort of coding is better used in the 'Agenda' view because the daily view brings up the color as a stripe that attracts the eye to the middle of the line.
When you use the agenda view you can profit more from my method.
    Here are the examples:

    (day view, not so prectical)

(agenda view, better for this method)
