Hi, everyone. This is my first post on this site.

I've been using my old Bold9780 on T-mobile UK for the past year. I use a cheap BIS plan that lasts 6 months and costs 20 pounds in total. I've never exceeded the data limit on it, and I resubscribed to it on May 21st.

I got a fairly-used Q10 two weeks ago (sim-free and unlocked). I put in my t-mobile sim (with my regular bis plan) into it, synced my emails, bbm, and contacts into it, and started using the phone. But within two days, I got a warning sms from T-mobile that I had exceeded 80% of the data limit. At the time, the Q10 was giving me issues, so I returned the sim back to my Bold9780.

Since then (10 days ago), I've been doing my regular blackberry stuff with the Bold9780. Been using the Q10 only on wifi. I've wiped the phone, and updated to the latest 10.1.0.2342 firmware.

I'd like some advice on the better data plans to use on the Q10 in UK. I'd prefer a BIS plan, because I may be switching the sim between the Q10 and old Bold9780. I also want to stick with EE network (T-mobile, Orange).

Spacyzuma, no BIS on BB10. The old SIM card will work in the Q10, but won't use BIS. So, keeping your current BIS subscription is sort of donating money to BB. On the data use of the Q10; you will use much more data. So sticking with an old subscription will only work if you are very aware of that. Finally, I use a Q10 on 3.6Mbs speed, and that actually works pretty good. Good luck with your 'new' phone, excellent choice.

In terms of data - 3UK is the only true unlimited data allowance.
