So I've cleared the actual voicemall from my inbox. But for whatever reason. The icon still shows in peek view. Aany suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Yeah, tried rebooting. Also full power down. I'm going to try powering it down and pulling the sim. See what that does.

I'm having the same problem too. It just started when I backed up my phone with the lastest BlackBerry Link program. I've tried everything. My next step is to wipe my phone.

There's been a few threads regarding this with older versions of the OS, however the threads are related to the Z10 - "voicemail icon Z10" would give results.

Anyway, a solution seems to be to call yourself, leave a voicemail, listen to the voicemail and let the voicemail system disconnect instead of you disconnecting. See if that works for you.

I have found the solution. Using Sacheis, I updated my Q. It is now moving much more smoothly and the? Voice-mail icon is gone. And hasn't come back.

I seemed to have fixed it too (on my Z30) by leaving a really long voice message from another phone. And I switched SiM cards to a different carrier and did a few hard resets.... then switched back to my original working SiM card and did a few hard resets again. And, it fixed it

Did you recently change services or port your number? I did, and I suspect someone called and left a voicemail shortly after the number porting. I had voicemail (1) for about a week (kept calling up and getting 0 new, 0 saved message) and eventually went away on its own.

I'm too facing the same issue. Have tried all the suggested actions and the voice mail icon is still there. Seems to be happening to my specific telco sim. But can't seems to remove it away.
