After debating for months I decided to take the plunge and shelf the note 3 for a Q10... my gf thinks I'm crazy but she doesn't really get how much of a crackberry addict I am lol.. few things I miss from the note 3 but I have my galaxy pro tab for whenever I get the app itch. I feel like my days are far more productive with a q10. Def nice to have a physical keyboard again.. can't wait for 10.2.1 on sprint!

You'll miss the screen. I just switched from my Z to my Q and i love everything about the Q better except for the screen size. Feels like I'm missing out on content

Yes I agree... def a huge difference (no pun intended).. I'm gradually getting more and more used to it and use my 8.4 inch tablet for most of my internet browsing.

Took somewhat the same plunge coming from the Note 2 to the Q10.
Am absolutely loving the Q10! Don't miss the bigger screen, have tabs and HDMI for that, and it makes the device so easy to handle and carry around.
And, yes, it's much easier and snappier to get things done!

It definitely feels zippier than the note 3 and I like how compact it is. I almost forgot what it feels like to have a smaller (more like average) size phone. And BlackBerry has come a long way with OS10.

I switched from the Z a little over a week ago and haven't missed the screen real estate as much as I thought I would. I am back to being able to type without looking! That is more than enough reason to have a smaller screen.

Also I would prefer to have better battery than bigger screen. I need my phone for emails, bbm and text mostly and charging 2 or 3 times a day just wasn't acceptable.

Hope you have fun with Q!

I also moved from a Z to a Q. I love the pkb, although my aging eyes require I wear my reading glasses! The Z would let me squeak by Without :-)

I'm in the same exact boat. I just switched from a Note 3 to a Q10. I miss a few features but the efficiency of the Q10 is hard to beat.

I still carry the Note 3 (Otterbox with holster) in the work vehicle and use it to take notes, pics, calculator, etc...

Believe it or not, the GN3/Q10 make a great combo. Use the Q10 most of the time though.

If I had to pick ONE, it would be my Q10!

I agree I would also pick the Q. After just a week of using it it's def easier to do things with it on the go. I just hope 10.2.1 isn't too much different than the current interface I have now.

For internet browsing, after a page loads, pressing R on the keyboard selects reader mode. That bridges the gap a little when reading internet sites. Will not help with video or pictures though.

I will soon be rocking a q10 along side an iPad mini or iPad air, haven't decided yet.

I should get both in white hehe.

But I'll probably stick with black. Cleaner in my opinion.

I like black as well.. you won't regret coming to a q from whatever phone you're coming from.. especially alongside a good tablet.

Make liberal use of the 'R' button for Reader Mode when browsing. It doesn't work for every page, but it works for most.

I also love being able to hit the space bar to scroll a page while reading.

I went from the Note 2 to the Q10 also, but I don't miss the screen for 1 simple reason. I still have my PlayBook, and I'm bridged most of the time. Both my Q10 and PlayBook have given me 12 hours at least out doing my job.

Oh god. I came from a 5 inch screen to the 3.1inch screen. Transition was kind of messy. I cannot even imagine going from a 6 inch screen to half that size O_o

It's not as bad as you might think. It's been a pretty good transition but I guess that's because I have a galaxy pro 8.4 tab for my gaming and app usage

At first, I was a little surprised by the smaller screen but since I just read, text, and type the Q10 is perfect.

If I did more social apps, then I would miss the screen real estate. But I don't so it's perfect.

once you load 10.2.1 on your q10 it will feel like a new phone ( easier to load apps)
I kinda did the opposite of what you did. I went from having the q10 since release to z30. i'm having withdrawal from the qwerty. but the screen real estate makes up for it.
i used to carry around two phones (work) so i had both bigger screen and qwerty but now i'm not on call anymore so i decided to go with bigger screen.

i do miss how compact the q10 is. They need to make a qwerty with a bigger screen!! haha
